Dear everyone,
Recently my short book published with Cambridge University Press (Elements in International Relations Series) was released. It is called “Weak States
at Global Climate Negotiations” and you can find it on Cambridge Core:
In the book I address our understanding of “weak” states in international relations and specifically in international climate relations, and discuss the impact
that the politics of being considered vulnerable has on global climate negotiations. I test my theory with a range of observational data drawn from country position papers and COP outcome texts to press and NGO statements released during the annual
climate negotiations, plus a few measures of climate risk.
The book may be of interest to those interested in the UNFCCC process as well salience politics and political implications of vulnerability in IR.
If you are interested but don’t have institutional access, please feel free to email me.
Best,
Federica
