Dear colleagues,
Please see below information about the 2021 Bratislava Conference on Earth System Governance.
Registration
is now open for the 2021 Bratislava Conference on Earth System Governance.
The conference is themed “Earth System Governance in Turbulent Times: Prospects for Political and Behavioral Responses”, and will take place on 7-9th September 2021.
The 2021 Bratislava Conference on Earth System Governance brings together the largest social science research network in the area of governance and global environmental change. The conference is hosted in collaboration with CETIP, SLOVAKGLOBe, Slovak Academy
of Sciences and Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava, and the Earth System Governance Project.
The Bratislava Conference will follow the successful and well-established format of previous Earth System Governance Conferences. Yet, given the uncertainties and risks related to public health and travel, we have decided to proceed with registration and programme sessions as a virtual conference, although possibilities for limited on-site attendance may arise. Read more about our Conference Format on the website.
We look forward to spending three full days - four days with the Taskforce & Meeting Day included on September 10th - to meet friends and colleagues, share our work and discuss earth system governance in turbulent times! Please
note that submissions for the Conference are now closed and authors of papers have been notified of their eventual acceptance. We warmly invite you to attend as a presenting author or participant and contribute to the debate.
For further information about the registration, registrations fees, and deadlines, please visit the
2021 Bratislava Conference website and FAQ.
Best regards,
Gustav Thungren
