I am excited to share that the 2019 AASHE Conference & Expo closing keynote speaker is Bill McKibben. The co-founder of 350.org and author of Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future, McKibben will share an impassioned call to arms for a sustainable economy to approximately 2,000 higher education sustainability practitioners in Spokane, Washington on Oct. 29.
I invite you to join us this fall to attend the full conference from Oct. 27 - 30 to hear McKibben’s thoughts on climate activism including divestment from fossil fuels. Register before August 1 when prices increase!
