Dear gep-ed,
Please share this job announcement in your networks.
We are looking to hire a postdoctoral researcher working on international cooperation. The researcher will contribute to ongoing work on change and resilience of international organizations---a substantive focus on climate change or international finance would be a great fit, but other areas of global public policy would be appropriate too. This is a two-year position in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University in Montreal. Half of the researcher’s time will be dedicated to their own projects. The preferred start date is September 1st, with flexibility for relocation and dissertation completion. Applications are due July 15th, but will be considered until the position is filled.
More details are below. If you have any questions, please email either Sam Rowan (sam....@concordia.ca) or Alexandra Zeitz (alexand...@concordia.ca).

Program Description
The Integrating Diverse Interests in Global Governance project is hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow. This new project investigates the challenges that arise as international institutions confront growing multipolarity. In some cases, existing institutions have marginalized key actors who now demand greater influence, while in others, outside actors refuse to be bound by common international rules. The project compares institutional reforms across policy areas, including climate and international finance, to understand when and how global public policy effectively accommodates diverse interests.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct original research and collaborate with a team of research assistants to analyze reforms to global governance. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating research activities, managing and analyzing project data, and publishing research related to the project.
Candidates should have a demonstrated research interest in global governance, including substantive knowledge of either climate change, international finance, or another field of global public policy. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to work independently and an interest in research collaboration. Experience with quantitative methods is desirable, but not required. The Postdoctoral Fellow will devote 50 percent of their time to working on the Integrating Diverse Interests in Global Governance project, with the remainder devoted to independent research and publishing.
