Calling All Prospective Mentors and Mentees!
The ESS-ISA Outreach Committee will be hosting our second annual ESS Mentoring Week during the week of February 13-17, 2023. Self-identified early career scholars will be matched with a mid-career or senior scholar mentor to meet on the day, time, and (online) platform of their choice during that week. Mentoring sessions will involve discussions about the job market or the tenure / academic job promotion process as well as other professional development topics. We will encourage mentees to share the best piece of advice given to them via Twitter. Last year, over 50 mentees were matched with mentors.
Prospective mentees
If you are interested in participating as a mentee, please fill out this Google form by January 15, 2023: shorturl.at/npVZ3
We will find you a mentor/mentee match on a first come first serve basis.
Prospective mentors
If you are interested to serve as a mentor during the ESS Mentoring Week or in the future, please fill out this Google form by January 15, 2023: shorturl.at/mxJRX
Our hope is that the ESS Mentoring Week will continue to be an annual event going forward. The deadline for signing up to participate as a mentee or mentor is Sunday, January 15.
If you have any questions, please contact the ESS-ISA outreach committee at environmentalst...@gmail.com. We look forward to your participation!
