The converging crises of our time also include a mental health crisis. This workshop will explore the intersection of mental wellness and community wellness by exploring the complexities of moving through the climate emergency and other crises while maintaining mental health. Participants will gain language to describe and process the complex emotions associated with change work, as well as activities and discussion ideas they can take back and enact at their campuses. The goal of this workshop is to support the wellbeing of those that attend and help them support their campus on a journey of wellbeing. More information and register.

See how Indigenous language, culture, and history can be integrated into campus and community life and provide a new lens for sustainability work. This workshop is intended for faculty, administrators, staff and students of all disciplines and at all educational levels, as well as community leaders and change agents who wish to integrate sustainability and an Indigenous way of thinking into their work.

This workshop introduces methods of user experience research and design, teaching you how to apply these methods to sustainability research, coordination & planning, and campus engagement. User experience research can help you learn about your audience, so you can streamline your project to impact behavior, knowledge, and/or campus culture. User experience design can help you deliver this project in a way that is intuitive, easy to use, and tailored to your audience.

Join three members schools of the AASHE Centers for Sustainability Across the Curriculum network in an experiential virtual workshop where participants will experience hands-on activities and walk away with lesson plans that can be used with diverse groups of students, faculty or staff at their institutions to educate for and about sustainability.
