Dear Colleagues,
The Council for European Studies is hosting its next annual conference in Reykjavik, Iceland June 22-24, 2020. We'd like to encourage scholars with an interest in environmental topics to attend. The CES is an interdisciplinary organization that seeks panels composed of scholars that might not otherwise connect, and we are especially interested in building ties with people working on environmental topics that have at least some focus on Europe.
If you have an interest in participating, please feel free to submit a paper or a panel proposal through our conference portal. We are just about to announce an extended deadline of Monday, October 21. In addition, I have a colleague from the humanities who is putting together a panel on restorative environmental practices.
