University Disassociation Efforts Intel

Dear colleagues, We are seeking to understand what efforts are taking place at different universities to break ties or avoid future entanglements with worrisome actors or industries. Our specific interest is in fossil fuel industry influence on research and teaching, and the support of disinformation on climate change and its solutions, but we want to learn from a range of efforts, both successes and failures or cases in progress. To speed up collection of cases around the world, we’d love to hear anything you know about your university or others.  Just to be clear, we are not talking about divestment efforts of endowments, but only whether the university has a policy of who they won’t take grants and gifts from.  If you do know about more than one place, kindly enter multiple iterations of this form. Then the results will end up in a spreadsheet with one line per university. We are happy to share the findings with you; add your email at the end if you’d like that. This request has immediate application in at least one case, hence the urgent request, but it would be great to build a database we can all use going forward even if what we gather this week isn't yet comprehensive.
