Hi all,

BBC Radio 4's Inside Science hosted a 10+ minute discussion on SRM with me and Prof. Joanna Haigh. You can find the recording here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001wqht

Cheers,

Pete

I have listened to the interview. Prof. Haigh presented counterpoints. She was unfamiliar to me, so I checked her publication history back 15y. She has 1 publication specific to geoengineering, with a preprint date over 5 years ago; it has 14 cites; she was 1 of 6 authors.

Andrew,

I was interviewed by the producer for a possible appearance, although it was apparent from early in the inter view that i wouldn’t be asked.   May be he just wanted my ( and Stephen and John’s)  ideas and knowledge. A sad reflection .

I was probably not well known enough in the field to be selected and although I do have a fair few more papers than that, sent in two powerpoints explaining how MCB works etc.  but finally a bit too close to John Latham and Stephen Salter and know a lot about MCB.

Regards
Alan

ps Joanne is a very good Physicist, was HoD at Imperial Physics Dept.
