Folks,

The <geoengineering> google group started out as a professional forum but has evolved into a general public discussion group.

I initiated this group but am no longer active in it.

Andrew Lockley has been moderating this group in recent years.

Would there be any objections to me handing over ownership of this group to Andrew Lockley?

Please reply (not reply all) if you have an objection.

Best,
Ken

To clarify, the group would henceforth be supported and paid for by out of UCL university funds controlled by Professor D’Maris Coffman, my often coauthor and acting supervisor. This budget will allow us to
A) invest in admin support to invite new authors to join, which I can no longer justify paying for out of my own pocket, and
B) potentially save me from some of the day to day grunt work involved (typically 1-2h unpaid, daily).

I don't expect any radical policy changes if this goes through.

Andrew,

I transferred ownership of the googlegroup to you.

Feel free to reduce my status to member when you log on.

If you have any trouble, let me know.

Best,
Ken

PS. All the email I got from people was supporting of this move (Gorman, Irvine, MacCracken, Hawkins, Akbari).
