Session description : Contributions focusing on high mitigation scenarios, overshoot and impact on the dynamics of the Earth System and reversibility of changes. Also contributions on direct climate interventions such as solar radiation modification (SRM), Carbon dioxide Removal (CDR), marine cloud brightening (MCB) and potential impacts on climate response but also on society and ecosystems; ethical implications of climate interventions.

The call for abstracts is open for oral and poster presentations. If you are submitting an abstract, you must be the presenter (in person or online). Authors are invited to submit one or more abstracts
A limited amount of financial support will be available inter alia to support deserving delegates who are
- early to mid-career researchers (EMCRs)* or
- from low to lower-middle income countries
To qualify for financial support the applicant must submit a contribution for oral and/or poster to the conference, of which they are the presenter (in person or online). The request for financial support will be made along with the abstract submission.
*Early career researchers (ECRs) are master and PhD students, researchers, and practitioners within 7 years of highest obtained degree (excluding parental and care leave). Practitioners are those working at the interface of society, policy, practice, and research. Mid-career scientists (MCRs) are researchers and practitioners between 8 and 15 years of highest obtained degree (excluding parental and care leave).
