I was on a panel at the AGU meeting last week (Frontiers of Geophysics Plenary Panel: Climate Intervention Research Issues and Opportunities: Navigating a Thoughtful and Inclusive Path Forward) and the New York Times wrote an article about it last Thursday.  See item 3.  The reporting was very accurate.

The way the article starts is also accurate, "Every December, more than 25,000 scientists from around the globe descend upon a cavernous convention center to eat dry sandwiches, drink weak coffee and ponder all things Earth and climate and space."
