Dear colleagues,

Earlier this year, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released the
Working Group II report of its sixth assessment, addressing climate impacts, adaptation and vulnerability. Among many important issues it addresses are the risks that arise from some responses that are intended to reduce the risks of climate change. The potential for adverse side effects from maladaptation, some forms of emissions reductions, carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and solar radiation modification (SRM) are important considerations addressed in the report.

In this latest C2GLearn, international expert authors will help us to explore and better understand how CDR and SRM are addressed in the new IPCC report. We invite you to join us for what promises to be a fascinating, informative and interactive webinar on Tuesday 12 April, at 11:00-12:00 UTC. Register for the event
here.

Moderated by Nicholas Harrison, Director of Knowledge Management of the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative (C2G), this event will include presentations from IPCC WG II authors followed by a live question and answer session with the audience.
