Get egid list of houses inside polygon

Hi everybody,

I would like to know if there is a way of retrieving the list of all buildings inside a polygon. If possible this  would save us a bit of time and processing time.

I might also add that we are talking about a couple of city blocks at most.

Hi Matteo,

if you mean on map.geo.admin.ch itself, you can select multiple feature by dragging a click while pressing CTRL.

This creates a box selection with a request that looks something like (on the Federal Register of Buildings and Dwellings layer) : https://api3.geo.admin.ch/rest/services/ech/MapServer/identify?layers=all:ch.bfs.gebaeude_wohnungs_register&sr=2056&geometry=2574000,1174000,2575000,1175000&mapExtent=2572500,1173000,2575000,1176000&imageDisplay=100,100,96&geometryFormat=geojson&geometryType=esriGeometryEnvelope&tolerance=10

I forgot to specify how to deal with this request... You can change the geometry param (and eventually the mapExtent param if the geometry is out of it, or use a very big mapExtent for all your requests) to match the area you want to have data (it's a bottom-left, top-right coordinate to describe the box you want). EGID should be returned for each feature then.

So in the geometry section I can input this polygon and it should work. That would be splendid. I will test it out tomorrow morning.
