Dear Marco

Cool! Thank you very much for your quick answer. is there a rule? Can I read about it somewhere? I didn't understand when it works and when it doesn’t.

Best regards,
Martin

Hi Martin, the details of this "glitch" need to be addressed by the geoadmin developers.

Best,
Marco

Hello
Thank you for reporting this issue.
We have analyzed it and are working on a workaround on data level to fix it.
The issue and/or weird behaviour  has been reported in the mapserver bug tracker.
https://github.com/MapServer/MapServer/issues/7019

Best regards

Thanks for reporting this. We experience the same in the wmts service. Example: https://wmts100.geo.admin.ch/1.0.0/ch.swisstopo.swissimage/default/current/4326/19/546452/125909.jpeg

Hello

We have applied a fix today which should solve the display issues in wgs84 in wms.geo.admin.ch and wmts.geo.admin.ch.

Best regards
Marcel

Hello

Unfortunately the fix did not work as expected in all the supported reference systems.
We had to rollback and the issue in wgs84 still exists.

Best regards
Marcel

Did you apply some fix since? The URL i posted earlier (https://wmts.geo.admin.ch/1.0.0/ch.swisstopo.swissimage/default/current/4326/19/549172/124146.jpeg) works now. It seems that the narrower zoom levels are working now, but there are still some which the issue appears (e.g. https://wmts.geo.admin.ch/1.0.0/ch.swisstopo.swissimage/default/current/4326/17/136609/31478.jpeg)

Hello
We have deployed a fix today which should resolve this display issue in wgs84 (WMS and WMTS).
However it is still possible that there are some relicts in the WMTS 2nd Level Cache.
we will flush the cache later today, but that might take a while.
Using WMS the issue is already solved [1].
Thanks for reporting.

Best regards

Nice, it works now for me on all zoom levels. Glad you found a workaround.

Hello
FYI we had to revert the fix with the wgs84 display again.
We are observiing unexpected issues on our production system with this fix.
We will try to find a solution.

Best regards
Marcel

I saw on GitHub that you successfully applied a patch for this issue. Will this be deployed at some point? It looks that it still happens at the moment.

Hi Marcel,

Do you have any update on this issue? I saw that you commented on the then already closed issue that the issue is not fixed for you.

Hi Pascal

Meanwhile we have migrated wms and wmts  to mapserver 8.2.
With this migration the issue has been solved.

Sorry for the late response and best regards
Marcel

Hi Marcel

Thanks for the response and fix. It looks indeed way much better now in my tests.

I was still able to find issues. Are these cdn-cached and will eventually fix themselves? Looking at the headers, it seems that they are cached for a year.
