I can't upload any gct files in any modules

Please respond with the following information as applicable:
 Complete description of the problem (ie what you were trying to do and what went wrong):

I'm probably making some basic error, but I can't figure it out. 

I used to use genepattern and gene-e years ago as a download, but java seems to have broken that. 

Online I can't even get gct files to upload, including already-formatted ones from the genepattern database. 

I have used mac, pc, all browsers, home and at work, to no avail.

How are you trying to upload the files? 

Are you using the upload button in the job submit form or the Files tab on the left? 

And on which server? 

Our old Broad-hosted server or our new Amazon cloud server?

I used the Amazon server. 

I've tried both methods of uploading, each time it just increments the upload progress from 0, 17, 34%, then crashes. 

I've matched the format structure for files, and tried using the example files too, but I can't get it to work.
