Visual Validation

Anyone written visual validation tests using Geb-Spock?  Looking for some feedback on how easy / hard it would be to write something like this:

def threshold = 0.95

when:

to SomePage

then:

somehow compare cached .jpg to current screen

if they are within (threshold) similarity then test should pass

I've never tried it myself but there is a blog by Tomas Lin who is one of Geb's early adopters about using Geb with Sikuli: https://fbflex.wordpress.com/2012/10/27/geb-and-sikuli/.
