Hi all,
Need some help. Does anybody have any old ATX power supplies lying around. I have been working on a couple of projects at school with the kids and we have managed to blow a couple of our old ones over the past couple of weeks. In the past we would have had a heap of spares on hand but with the governments digital education revolution schools have gone down the laptop path so old desktop parts are hard to come by.Anything 450w and above with 24pin would be amazing.

Cheers
Dan

I am painting for Peter. Another Peter you have not met yet. A Senior electronics guy who has all the oold stuff. I am just not sure what ATX stands for. Is that a brand name or stands for the old power supply with lots of cables on them.

Walter- If I drove all that way I might have a SORE BUTT too.
Dan- I may have a few ATX psu but probably not >450 watts
Robert - ATX refers to the Power supply connector If it's less than 8-10yo it probably is an ATX PSU

Cheers Paul
