I have two of the HL-5400DN printers with the latest firmware (1.20) and I am still not able to get them connected to my Google Apps account. It works with a regular Gmail account but only if "allow less secure apps" is enabled. This option does not exist for Google Apps accounts so I am pretty sure that's where the problem lies. I have read that OAuth 2.0 is required on Brother's side to make this work. I contacted Brother tech support but after numerous emails I ended up with a "this doesn't work" from them. Great customer service! If anyone knows of a work around I would be very interested since I am not willing to set up some random Gmail account just to share printers.
