Chrome RDP not working in Windows server 2012 on GCE

I see that Chrome RDP does not work in Windows server 2012 on GCE.
Firewall rules configured to accept all traffic for http as well as tcp port 3389 opened for rdp. Still it shows black screen. With statistics to be 0 for bandwidth.

Hi Rasesh,

When you enter your username and password, do you get an error, or do the credentials appear to work, and your screen turns black?

If this is the case, what is your monitor size? The issue may be that you are running on a monitor that is too small and the Chrome RDP session is not re-sizing, so you are only seeing a portion of the desktop screen.

Hi Max,

I am not able to get the login screen even. I see that I can just get connected to Chrome RDP. It does not show any error while connecting to chrome RDP. It shows black screen once connected.

Moreover microsoft RDP works well. So I think things are specific related to chrome RDP. In addition to it, Chrome RDP works well on AWS EC2.

Hi Josh,

I am able to use Microsoft RDP client. Moreover point is, I am not able to use Chrome RDP if I make GCE windows server RC 2 as my host for Chrome RDP and access in from my home.

I have checked the firewall as well. In addition to it, everything works well in AWS EC2. I am able to do Chrome RDP for host of AWS to my home.

Can you please check and let me know if there are any specific settings required to make Chrome RDP work in GCE as a host?
