Transferring files to my Windows instance

Hi, I have a python code that generates windows instances. After I create them, I want to put some files on them. how do I do it for windows instances? (AFAIK, $gcloud compute copy-files works only for ubuntu decoys)

Hello Nadav,

You can use any of the standard methods to copy files to and from Windows, including Remote Desktop, Windows shares and IIS Web and FTP servers.

Hello Nadav,

You can also use Google Cloud Storage to transfer files between instances or your local computer. If you're creating many Windows instances and uploading the same set of files to them, that would be easier to upload your files to a GCS bucket and then use 'gsutil cp' command in your script to automate the transferring the files to your Windows VMs.
