Hi Mohit,

How did you migrate the VM? Does it show running in your console? Are you able to ping the VM? Make sure that you have a firewall rule in Google Network that allows the connections. You should also verify that there is no firewall inside the VM dropping the handshake. Another useful test is to spin a new VM, in the same network using the public image provided by Google and see if you are able to connect.

A good tool to troubleshoot is nmap. You can perform a scan to check the status of the ports. That might bring you an idea if you are having a problem with a firewall or the RDP service not running in the VM.

I have the same problem. I confirmed that the VM is pingable and that the correct firewall rules are in place. I can RDP into another VM on the same subnet, but can't RDP from that machine either.

Hello Justin,

Based on the ticket you opened from within the VM Migration console, you're trying to RDP into the wrong machine, as you have not finish a successful Test/Cutover yet.

Once you do, the migrated machine will be created and you'll be able to RDP into it.

I have the same problem.
I migrated an AWS MV using the Cloud Endure.
After completing the copy, I started a TEST, but I can not ping.
The rules have been configured correctly and if I create a VM from scratch, I am able to ping and access via RDP.
Can someone help me?

Yes, this error happens whenever I try to launch a test.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the latest Test job that I can see for the machine whose name that you provided is from May 26.

Could you please check is SP1 for Windows 2008 R2 is installed on the source machine, as described here?
