Hello, I have this line of log showing twice a minute. I'm curious if this is normal for Debian instances or maybe a just a bug. Is there any way to disable this from the syslog or maybe assign it to it's own log file. Thanks

Do you know what version of the Debian image and compute-image-packages package you are running?

Hello and thanks for the reply, i'm not sure how to check the compute-image-packages version but my linux version seems to be "Debian 3.16.5-1~bpo70+1 (2014-11-02) x86_64". I also see the comments on the link you posted, is there any way i can upgrade just the compute-image-packages? Thanks!

Any further insight into this issue would be appreciated.

Sure, those are just Debian tricks :-)

What version is installed? dpkg -s <package> | grep Version

To upgrade: apt-get install --only-upgrade <package>

I was unable to find the package names to attempt an update, but I was able to manually make the change needed by following the merge request on github.
