Datastore is not migrated to Firestore

Hi,

I got an email from GCP that said this:

"

Your projects listed below are scheduled to migrate on or after August 18, 2021 and be done before October 6, 2021.

"

But I checked my datastore status today and it is still not updated. I tried to query the logs, but could not find any datastore related log.

How can get my Datastore to migrate to Firestore? I don't have any data stored. I just want to switch the API. I won't mind if they delete my Datastore instance and let me create a new Firestore instance.

Hi,

 At the top right of https://console.cloud.google.com/datastore/entities you should see the text showing "Cloud Firestore in Datastore mode".  This shows that your project finished migrating.  However, to switch the mode of your database Datastore mode to Firestore native is not currently supported through out database api (https://cloud.google.com/firestore/docs/reference/rest/v1/projects.databases).

Hi Jim,

Yes, it says "Cloud Firestore in Datastore mode". But today, I saw an extra button to "switch to native mode"

But when I try it, I got an internal error message...is it something you can help me with?
