I would like to invite you to a meeting that is happening on Monday evening in regards to the state of the Anacostia Playhouse. Currently the doors to the theater are closed and the community is working to reopen it and regain access so that we will have a space to continue creating art. lf you are free, please join us in this conversation. Right now, it is ONLY a conversation to give an update of where things stand and what steps will need to be taken to move forward. But it's also a chance for folks to express thoughts and ideas about how any of us can support this effort. More information can be given during the meeting. Hoping you can join and assist as we try to keep art alive and thriving east of the river.
