I see the coversations on here are not up to date. My gallery 3 was hacked and we've been working on restoring photos but apparently the program is damaged. Can anyone give us some advice on how to fix that. Our IT guy is helping to get this up and running again so any help would be appreciated. --

I will be easiest if the IT Guy sets the system to use PHP 7.4 and reinstall Gallery 3 to the latest version available and import the photos that should be retrievable.
It would be possible to guide you and those assisting to do this procedure. Start with a fresh slate which makes the trouble shooting easier.
What is happening when your Gallery is queried by a browser? Just a blank white page or the Oops Something Went Wrong message?
