Help Need cPanel and Website issues

I'm hoping that everyone sees this. I have had Gallery forever for my photography but after some host stations closed down I've been passed to Hivelocity, which is not the right host for me as I am not knowledgeable enough to do everything myself. The company IT Guy has been helping me.

So, I have a couple of questions. 

1-Does anyone have a suggestion of a good and reasonably priced hosting platform that is not a VPS - as I need a host for someone like me that doesn't know what to do. Apparently my cPanel has been compromised and they are telling me to apply a patch. I'm going to try and figure this out with my IT guy but then I need to move my website to someplace else that is the normal type and not a VPS. Suggestions would be welcome. The former platform I was on closed down and forwarded me to this other one that is not good for someone like me. Also, if anyone is familiar with this present issue and already knows how to apply the patch we would appreciate any help. My website is dianaderosa.com and if you go to it you will see it is not working because of the cPanel issue.

Also, if anyone out there does help people like me at a very reasonable price let me know. 

I'm a longtime equine journalist and I have thousands of photos on my site but all at a very low resolution. I rarely use the site. I only occasionally update photos but mostly those from major equestrian events and from World Champions, Pan Am and Olympic Games. You won't be able to see my actual site now because of this issue.

I welcome any thoughts.

Diana,

There are several "picture gallery" websites where you can upload pictures and have them viewable through a user interface (something like the Gallery interface you've been using, but much simpler). I personally have not checked out any of them for many years and can't recommend anything specific at this point. I'll poke around and see what's out there currently and post back here in a day or two. If it's any consolation you're in good company with a lot of long-time gallery users who found themselves needing "something else" when their old server company stopped playing nice with them.
