Dear Funwave Users,

I am encountering an issue in my simulations where the water elevation appears to expand over the top of emerged breakwaters for longer wave periods. Despite this, the simulations remain numerically stable. Interestingly, this issue does not occur with waves of shorter periods.

I have tried adjusting the MinDepth parameter for wetting and drying, testing values of both 0.1 and 0.01, but the problem persists in both cases.

The specific conditions I am working with are as follows:
Hs: 2.74 m
Tp: 7.87 s
dx and dy: 2 m

If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has suggestions on how to address it, I would greatly appreciate your insights.

Saeed,

It's probably not an issue.  If you subtract the structure elevation from the reported elevation eta, you'll probably find that the difference is something like the minimum depth.  It should be just a thin layer of water that has gotten immobilized by getting down to MinDepth in thickness?
