In addition to today's team meeting, I would like the whole team and parent(s) to meet for lunch or dinner to celebrate and conclude this year's season for Psionics.

It would be very good to use this event to not only celebrate the achievement of the team but also for the team to thank the coaches (Doug, Hem, Linda, Huilin) for their dedication and invaluable guidance they provided to bring the team to the regionals. 

Please let me know your thoughts.

Hello Psionics parents:

Huilin reviewed and narrowed down a couple of them for Lunch on this sunday (starting at 12).

I called Bombay Bistro (S. Lamar) and Corriander India (on 290W near Brodie intersection). Both of them said that they do not have a room but are willing to reserve a table for us (group of 20-25).

Please pick one of them and let me know along with the number of people who will attend such that I can call them and reserve the table.

We are ok with any other choice too in case most of you feel that both these are not that good.

From my side Vaishnavi, Aruna and I will attend.

Based on Coach Doug's suggestion for a private room, I called Clay pit and reserved a table. 

I was asked to fill out the on-line request for a private room and I did that and mentioned Coach Doug's suggestion to talk to Bali Singh for a private room.

For sure, we have a table reserved at Claypit. Hoping to hear from them about private room. I will keep you posted.

They mentioned that their kitchen is closed on Sunday and buffet is more elaborate than other days - 13 dishes total with 4 of them being vegetarian - which covers all of us.

You might want to ask about group pricing on Sundays.  Sometimes Sunday buffets can also be more elaborately priced than other days:)

Psionics parents:

Coach Doug did his charm. 

He got us a private room with no charge. The lunch is $13.5 per person.

When I went directly, I got into a $150 charge for the room and $14-$15 lunch per person.

See you all at Claypit at 12:00 this sunday to celebrate Psionics team accomplishments.

Hi all,

This is a semi-private room (there may be a couple of two-tops sharing with us) and the lunch is buffet-style, but there should be plenty of privacy and several great selections.
