to Freesound API
Could you please provide a simple guide for using the API and therefore the FreeSound sound library? I'm a teacher and would like to use an app to do this. Thanks.

Hi,

The API is the way through which 3rd party apps can interact with Freesound. There exists documentation which is useful for developers to integrate Freesound content in their apps (here https://freesound.org/docs/api/). If you are interested in using a particular app, then you should reach the developer of the app, as this mailing list is for technical API discussions/support, and not for help about usage of specific apps.

Cheers,

frederic

You can see an example of integrating freesound.org in a React app here: https://github.com/tedsecretsource/sound-recorder

This React app supports authentication and listing sounds stored on freesound.org. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.
