Os mando esto que he localizado y que me ha parecido super interesante. Es un manual que Atari mandaba a los propietarios de las "maquinas recreativas" para que pudieran hacer sus propias reparaciones en los 80.

El tema es que el manual está super  trabajado y a parte de tener cosas muy concretas de las máquinas en cuestión, explica cosas sobre electrónica general .

Me ha parecido muy curioso, simplemente por si alguien lo disfruta.

I'm sending you this that I found and thought was super interesting. It's a manual that Atari sent to owners of their arcade machines so they could do their own repairs back in the '80s.

The thing is, the manual is really well done, and besides having very specific information about the machines in question, it explains general electronics.

I thought it was really interesting, just in case anyone enjoys it.

Hi Charli,

These old service manuals were incredibly useful. Unfortunately, when manufacturers decided the repair industry wasn't economically viable, this level of detail became unnecessary, and in my opinion, that's a huge loss.

I also really appreciated the BBC video. I'd seen it before, but about 40 years ago... I'm that old. The UK IT sector has a lot to thank the BBC for.

Estos viejos manuales de servicio eran increíblemente útiles. Desafortunadamente, cuando los fabricantes decidieron que la industria de la reparación no era económicamente viable, este nivel de detalle dejó de ser necesario y, en mi opinión, representa una gran pérdida.

También agradecí mucho el video de la BBC. Lo había visto antes, pero hace unos 40 años... Soy así de viejo. El sector informático del Reino Unido tiene mucho que agradecerle a la BBC.
