Hola Fernando e charli ,
Hope you all are fine guys,
For info,
i have the colorligth i9, and has you have probably seen, i added the board,
I did it only for the FT2232 programmer (starting from what you did Fernando, last year for the colorligth i5)
So the command which is launched when, we upload is the following:
But has you wrote, i am not using the "stm32" programmer which is in the motherboard that we can get on aliexpress for pluging the colorligtht i5 or i9 (daughter boards)
Normally, this programmer should work with the ecpdap software, last year you made a support in icestudio for i5 board ( colorligth i5 ecpdap) but i never managed to make it work and you finally remove it from icestudio !
Remark: i could used ecpdap but outside icestudio . It is needed for unlocking the flashram (
$ ecpdap flash unprotect details
here
)
So for know i am programing :
- my colorligth i5 with FT2232 or usbblaster programmers.
- my colorligth i9 with the FT2232 programmer (making it
also
programmable from icestudio for the usbblaster will be easy, if needed)
of course i have the two boards modified (added 4 jtag header pins) it looks like that !
About the icesugar pro board, i do not know! But as you shortly mentioned
here it seams the builtin programmer is also an arm microcontroller.
So maybe it can be programmed with the "slow" ecpdap (instead of iceprog )
Personally, i do not find that icesugar-pro very interesting (more expensive than the colorligth i5 board that has the same 25 kLut Fpga).
And cost the same as the colorligth i9 that has two time more luts ( 45 kLuts).
on the pro side, icesugar pro has four time more SDRAM and Flash ram than the colourlith i9! So.... it is anyone choice !! ;-)
Have a nice evening!
