Hello,

I can see, Shlomif, that you're really into this solitaire solvers business: http://fc-solve.shlomifish.org/ I guess you're planning to implement improved solving algorithms into PySolFC, am I right?

BTW, what do you think about the prospect of utilizing neural networks to improve solitaire solvers as well as demo mode? Maybe neural networks could even crack those solitaire types that other solvers have problems with? Two interesting links:

That's true.

My version of PySol FC already integrates http://fc-solve.shlomifish.org/ (which was added by earlier contributors) as well as http://www.shlomifish.org/open-source/projects/black-hole-solitaire-solver/ (which I added) - see Assist → Solver in the supported games. I had more issues in trying to implement solvers for games that have talons (such as Spider, Klondike, or Gypsy).

I haven't really studied neural nets too well so far so I cannot comment. It may be worth pursuing, but Someone Needs To Do It™. thanks for the links.

Jan

You can never truly appreciate The Gilmore Girls until you've watched it in the original Klingon.
