Hello
I want your help to shape research within Europe and the UK!
I believe your insights would be invaluable to our project, which will inform the research funding strategy of the Wellcome Trust – an influential funder based in the UK – for the next few years.
TABLE at the University of Oxford and the Centre for Food Policy at City St. George’s University of London is calling all food researchers and knowledge generators to tell us whether and how funders and research can better facilitate climate, health and justice goals through food system transformation. We want to know:
What is the role of research in facilitating change? Does it have one?
  • What should be priorities for research and funding in the food space?
  • What do you need from research and funders to do more and better work?
  • What are the barriers to getting funding for, conducting, communicating and implementing food research?
  • What is needed for food research to have greater impact and facilitate food system change?
The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and all answers will remain anonymous. We will not collect any identifying information, unless you choose to provide it yourself. The survey will directly feed into the research funding strategy for Wellcome Trust – an influential UK funder – as part of their Climate and Health programme.
You are encouraged to share this survey across your research networks! You can also share this LinkedIn Post about the survey. For any questions, comments or concerns, please contact Rachel Headings (rachelh...@tabledebates.org).

Dear Christian,

Thank you for sharing the survey. I’ve now completed it — it’s an excellent initiative, and I appreciate the opportunity to contribute to shaping future research and funding priorities for food system transformation in Europe and the UK.

Kind regards,
