I have been invited to give a presentation to the WAste Free Future (WAFF) group. - they  organize four or five online sessions per year around this topic, where someone presents ongoing work. The setting is informal, with time for discussion and new ideas.

Participants are mostly academics who study household waste from a consumer behaviour perspective, although we welcome other perspectives and interdisciplinary work. Sessions will mostly centre on food waste, but can also include recycling, packaging waste, etc.

If you want to keep informed about this inspiration series for a WAste Free Future (WAFF), please sign up by sending an e-mail to WA...@wur.nl

Dear WAFF member,

On Jan 30, Christian Reynolds will talk about his research regarding a mapping of 700+ food waste policy “solutions”.

Christian (City University of London) is the editor of the Handbook of Food Waste, and author of many papers on food waste, among which the food waste interventions overview that was published in Food Policy.

Christian is looking for collaboration on the topic of policy solutions, and this could be a great opportunity for some of us in the WAFF community.

More information will follow later.

For now: please reserve the time slot (January 30, 7-8 AM UK time).

Feel free to invite other interested scholars!

This is an inconvenient time for those of you in the US. We will record the session, and Christian has also kindly offered to repeat the session in his afternoon that day (which would be morning for people in the US) if that is appreciated. If you cannot come to the indicated time slot but would like to attend a session some 8 or 9 hours later, please send a reply to wa...@wur.nl; depending on number of responses we may accommodate.
