I have the spell check working for my analysis language, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be working in the create new entry dialogue:

Only in the full entry view does it do the spell check for the gloss I just typed:

Is this a known limitation, or just an oversight? If I am working in the lexicon view it's not a big problem, however if I am adding from the interlinear then i won't have any indication.

Or have I done something wrong with the setup?

This is by design. Spell checking is intended for texts, and there aren’t many texts in the lexicon area, though it does work in a few places.

Ah, so what you are saying is that I'm luck to be seeing spell checking on the gloss field in the lexicon since it wasn't intended to be there? If so, please don't remove it, lol. It has saved me several times.

I'm not sure what the reasoning is that spell checking should only be for texts, but I can say as a user that I highly appreciate having a spell checker anywhere I'm typing words that could be misspelled.

I can also imagine people working on a trilingual dictionary could also use this support since some people may not be entering words in their native language.

Perhaps the devs could reconsider this design decision.

Thanks for all the hard work!
