Hi, I am working on converting several FLEX databases to printable formats and for most purposes I’ve found Lexique Pro to be the best choice. However, there are certain grammatical category details that simply will not go through in the export from FLEX no matter how many configurations I’ve tried. My main issue is that we have feminine and masculine nouns, but the ‘m’ and ‘f’ that show up in the grammatical category in FLEX do not come through to Lexique Pro. This seems odd to me as the modified categories “compound noun”, “proper noun”, etc., come through without a problem. Has anyone else experience this and found a solution? I have tried using other options for exporting, but even with this problem Lexique Pro works best for my needs, so I’d like to find a solution within the program. I’m not sure if the problem is on the FLEX side or the LP side so it would help me to know if anyone else has had the same experience.
Thanks!
