I am using FireBug to debug an ExtJS application.  I am compiling the application with Sencha CMD 3.1.2.342 to produce a single large JS file.  (Over 200000 lines.)

When I try to debug this file in the Script window, the file is truncated to 148470 lines.  I believe that at one point this file was not truncated when I loaded it, but I can not reproduce that.

Does it help if you increase value of the following preference?
extensions.firebug.cache.responseLimit

(use about:config)

Yes this seems to fix the problem.

Shouldn't we increase the default value of this? People have more RAM nowadays.

Increased it to 10 MB in https://github.com/firebug/firebug/commit/a0a7a4b48d766517c0d1e096d2396f2b7f756259.
Though we may better implement a notification when the limit is exceeded.

The issue:
Issue 4906: Show notification in Script panel if tab cache is exceeded

... has been fixed.

The Script panel will show a notification informing the user if the Scrip is truncated.

Will be included in the next Firebug 1.13 alpha release
