inspect DOM>document.cookies firebug 2.9 shows only " " sign but i can see the PHPSESSID and _ga etc from the cookies panel

Hi,

    I inspected my index.html DOM>document.cookies ( firebug 2.9 ) supposedly show this "csrftoken=szWYDdwAJYJz1Qf0OaMIsH3DAVFWj4j9; _ga=GA1.3.1679803126.1432797686; PHPSESSID=u0u80j5sfddec85c70eiscb1o7"
    However i only got this " " sign
    I am behind apache2 server with varnish installed. The PHP server nginx is on other domain.
    And this morning no cookies at all in the cookies panel. What is wrong? Please give advise.
