Firebug 2.0. toString methods

The toString methods of the objects are invoked from the debugger, and debugger jumps into these methods.
I think that these calls are made from somewhere watchPanel.js or watchTree.js.
Can someone tell me where to change this behavior?

Problem found: https://github.com/firebug/firebug/blob/master/extension/content/firebug/lib/object.js#L107
Can anyone tell me if I delete this line without side effects?
