Why does Firebug automatically just pop up when loading pages?

I'll be browsing around the web and it may be my first page or my
third page when Firebug just decides to open. It's extremely annoying
since it happens just about every day. Has anyone else experienced
this or know how to stop without completely uninstalling?
Firefox 11.0 Windows 7 x64

Reset the Firebug options (Firebug Menu > Options > Reset All Firebug Options) and the problem should be gone.

This was happening to me too. Extremely annoying!
After reading this article, I went to the Firebug menu and realized my default Firebug UI Location was set to "detached". I changed the default to bottom and the problem was solved.
