I just noticed that since version 2.0. Some javascript basics error like undefined variables or binding error dont appear anymore in firebug it make me revert to 1.12 since it work in it.

Could you please look at this problem cause it makes firefox being after chrome in debugging console when it was way foward, when I install firebug 2.0

Thanks
A firebug lover

To see all errors and warnings within your JavaScript please check the two options Show JavaScript Errors and Show JavaScript Warnings.

If you still can't see all errors, you should follow the steps described on our first aid page and provide a simple test case, so the problem can be reproduced.

Note that there is an issue related to the Console API in Firefox 33.0, which will be fixed with the next bug fix release.

To follow Samuel post,

Since I updated to version 2.0. I also see, some errors who are now missing. As I switched back to a previous version of Firebug. The following error appeared in the logs.

Clearly something as changed, No errors in 2.0 and there an error in 1.12.8.

Show JavaScript Errors and Show JavaScript Warnings are indeed checked.

Also, I'm currently on version 31.0 of Firefox on Windows 8.1.

Hi David,

could you please post a URL to a page where I can see this issue?

Well, I will try to get make you a demo as fast as possible. Since, I'm unable to show you the website due to a NDA.

But until I give u a demo, the error is a underscore.js  _bindAll is undefined. Which can easly be fixed.. but still wierd it doesn't appear anymore on Firebug.

No problem. A simple HTML page including some JavaScript causing the problem would be fine. Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce this problem yet.

Of course it sounds weird. As soon as we can reproduce the problem, we'll have a look.

Another relevant question: are you loading the pages as file:/// URLs?

I can confirm this.

There is no reproducible pattern, might even change within a session.
