I happen to disagree with the user who reported http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=4814, I do not want a confirmation.
This commit added a force parameter to bypass the confirmation, but I didn't find any option in Firebug to set this parameter.

If there is one, where can I find it?
If there isn't, then this is a badly implemented change. One user asks for a confirmation dialogue, so every user is then required to go through the dialogue whether they want to or not?

It should be simple to create a check box in the confirmation dialog saying something like: "do not ask again".
Please create an issue report here:
http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/list

And I'll implement it.

Patch for the problem committed to our source repo.
Will be included in Firebug 1.12.1

Thanks for the report!
