Пожалуйста, обновите firebug до уровня Firefox и русифицируйте.
В настоящем состоянии он просто непригоден для работы разработчика.

Firebug for chrome has been dead for a very long time.
Why do you want to use it instead of the Chrome dev tools?

Also note that you can use the Firefox DevTools and remote debug Chrome with them.
