Hi,
might it be possible to make FBug 1.12 compatible with latest FF versions?  FBug became just unusable slow since 2.0 and I doubt this can be fixed anytime soon.

Thank you for any direction, I am ok to setup the whole dev envirnment and compile it my self.

Rather of installing an old version of Firebug, you should help us to track the problem down, so it can be fixed.

If you still want to use Firebug 1.12, there's an extension Disable Add-on Compatibility Checks available, which allows you to do so.
Though note that there's no support for Firebug 1.12 anymore. So parts of it may not work as expected anymore (especially the Script panel doesn't work at all anymore due to old Firefox Debugger APIs called JSD being removed in Firefox 33.0) and it may break completely at any time. So it's not recommended to use it.

Hi,
thanks for the hints! I already reported in detail that 2.0 became unusable slow with large AMD/Dojo applications. I didn't got any feedback and its not surprising because its actually not really fixable with the new but heavy rendering in 2.0.
Ok, I will try to get it compatible myself then. 1.12 is still really great, i don't need more.

I can't find that report. Can you point me to it?

Hi,

Here you go : https://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=7545. Another example application you can find here: https://github.com/mc007/xbox-app#full-checkout-checks-out-full-tree-1gb. This loads 600 AMD Modules and it might sound crazy but its really average size. I tried already to pre-built a few layers so I've got only a few JS files. Seems rather a problem with larger Javascripts context's.

thank you for the heads up!
