Sorry for the late response.

It looks like  a conflict with another extension, so try installing Firebug in a clean profile. The instruction: https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Install_Firebug_into_a_clean_profile.
Does it help?

I also CC Sebastian, who can help you more if there has been already a post showing the same issue.
