Hi,

I'm using the latest version of Firefox/Firebug on Mac (10.9.5).  When I request a web page that causes a series of redirects, the net panel clears out the request log each time the new (automatica) request is made.  How do I prevent the Net panel from clearing out all the requests?  I'd like to see the history of the requests and what exactly is transpiring wiht all the redirects.

Thanks, - Dave

There's an option to keep all historical requests in the net panel.

On the left side, there is a Persist button, to the right of Clear. This will allow the log to persist through page loads.

Where is htat option?  When I look at the options from teh drop down menu under "Net", all I see are "Enabled", "Disable Browser Cache," "Show Paint Events," and "Show BF Cache Responses".

Also I dont' see any such option discussed on the Firebug Wiki -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firebug_%28software%29 .

I had to jog my memory a bit, but here it is:

Thanks.  Here's what I'm running into.  I click "Persist" in my current browser window, then click on the button on my page that triggers all the redirects.  That button spawns a new tab but when Firebug pops up in that new tab, "Persist" is not enabled and the redirects scroll by too fast for me to set it.  Is there a way to make "Persist" enabled by default?

For the record, the Firebug reference is not on Wikipedia, it is at https://getfirebug.com/wiki.
