Console not working with firefox Developer Edition 43.0a2 (2015-10-20)

The console just appears to be echoing the immediate commands rather than evaluating them. This has been constant for the last 2 developer editions.
If I can do more to help debug, please let me know or provide a link to the information.

This is also happening to me, I'm ready to drop developer edition as I don't care for firebug 3
