Hi. Thanks - I love this add-on. I have been thinking of starting to use Opera as my main browser but see there is no Firebug add-on for it. Are there any plans of doing one in the near future?

I can't speak for the team behind Firebug, though as far as I know there is nothing like this planned.
The reason is that Firebug uses many Firefox specific APIs to access the data around a page, which are not available in other browsers.

Correct, there are no such plans. Firebug is Firefox specific add-on.
