What functionality did you have in mind? Eclipse Ajax Toolkit
framework
provides java connection to mozilla, incl connection to jsd, the same
interface
used by Firebug. Aptana is an eclipse plugin written in Java that
supports
Javascript debugging by interacting with Firebug through a socket.
Fireclipse
is a (much simpler) eclipse plugin that interacts with Firebug to
position
the editor on error messages.

Hi John
Thanks for reply.
I am trying to get XPATH of elements, DOM structure of a given webpage
using JAVA.
Thanks
satya.

Then I suggest you look elsewhere. There are plenty of java libraries
for XPATH and DOM manipulations. Eclipse Web Tools Platform has a
bunch. In principle you can use Java with Mozilla tools like Firebug;
in practice very few developers find this combination useful.

Thank you very much John.
I will search for other java libraries.
Thanks
satya.

Even I am looking for the same thing.
@John
Is there any way I can use Firebug APIs in my Java application? I have to create an application where user opens a HTML document in browser and clicking on HTML components like button, links, image etc. should trigger storage of XPath in a xml file.

I want to get the HttpOnly cookies that I am not able to do with tools like Jsoup. HttpOnly cookie is shown in firebug but not through java code using Jsoup etc.

Firebug is standard Firefox extension, so you could use LiveConnect
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/LiveConnect
(I never used it personally)

Btw. this thread is pretty old, so don't hesitate to create a new one next time.
